Medical Life Sciences: A Master’s programme in biomedical research

Remaining places: Applications for April 2021

Welcome to Medical Life Sciences!

We train students for careers in biomedical research.

Check the webpage to find out what the programme is about
and why studying Medical Life Sciences is worth your while, in particular and even in Corona times.

We have been experiencing an unpredictable time with the pandemic of Covid-19 having disrupted our everyday lives since March. Nevertheless we keep on teaching students. The summer semester 2020 went as scheduled, although in an unusual format, relying on video conferencing tools, audio-commented lecture slides, web presentations by students. The winter semester has started using the same digital formats, running more smoothly than at the start of the summer semester. It's not perfect and everybody will be glad to return to in-class teaching and studying, but students and lecturers alike have shown with their initiative: studying can go on, even if you are not in class. With case numbers up, we will be teaching online for the rest of the semester as well. Hopefully the situation will be getting better soon so that in the summer semester we can run modules in an in-class format again, at least in parts.
Please help to decrease spreading by curbing social contacts for the time being, wearing masks and keeping your distance at all times.
Stay safe and healthy!
